My wonderful husband surprised me with an adult only vacation to Puerto Vallarta. We spent 3 nights at The Westin Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa and 1 night at the most amazing resort, St Regis Punta Mita. Prior to having children, our vacations started with early rising and then a packed agenda. But being this was our first true childless vacation after having kids, we did NOTHING but relax! We spent countless hours laying by the pool, reading, shopping & dining in downtown, 90-minutes massages and romantic dinners on the beach. We had such an amazing time that we are changing our December trip from Hawaii to Puerto Vallarta (this time with the kids).
So many people asked us if we felt safe traveling to Mexico, and honestly I never felt unsafe or scared during our time in Puerto Vallarta.
I read Hunger Games in the first 24 hours I was there…..couldn’t have had a better spot to read a book….
